Susan Eva O'Donovan is Associate Professor of History at the 糖心vlog蜜桃. A former editor at the Freedmen & Southern Society Project and author of Becoming Free in the Cotton South, Professor O'Donovan specializes in African American history with a focus on the transition from slavery to freedom in the Civil War era.
